Howard Cosell - Sat. Night Live

 


Today I’m thinking about Howard Cosell. He’s the greatest TV sportscaster of all time. I haven’t heard and seen anyone like him. I remember him most from the times he had talks with Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali was always clowning with him. They had a friendship.

 Howard Cosell would be excited in his boxing announcement. He’d say things like: Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!” And he’d say: It’s only radio. It’s so simple. - I simply have to get done. I have an eight o’clock train & station. - I don’t think that’s funny!”

 Today I’m going to play Howard Cosell from an old episode of Saturday Night Live. Howard Cosell had a great sense of humor. So enjoy Howard Cosell - Saturday Night Live.
