  By Gail Nobles  NBL Championship Series: 36ers Edge Out Kings in Thrilling Finish   In recent news from the NBL, basketball fans have been buzzing about a nail-biting game between the Adelaide 36ers and the Sydney Kings. The match ended with the 36ers narrowly defeating the Kings 91 to 89, with an unforgettable last two minutes.   As the clock ticked down, Bryce Cotton made headlines by scoring for the 36ers with an impressive drive to the basket, bringing the score to 91-89 36ers. The excitement in the arena was noticeable, but things heated up even more after the final buzzer.   To be honest, I hardly knew Phil Jackson. It was always Michael Jordan - Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan first joined the Bulls in 1984. He was the NBA Rookie of the year in 1985.  In 1987, Jackson was hired as an assistant coach by the Chicago Bulls under Doug Collins. He promoted to head coach in 1989. Jackson and the Bulls made the playoffs every year, and failed to win the title only three times.   Before Phil Jackson became coach, people were already talking about Michael Jordan. I wasn’t a Chicago Bulls fan & as far back as I can remember, every time I turned around, Jordan was making shots, slam dunking, and winning. He jumped high up in the air. When I think of air Jordan, I think of him & not the basketball shoes. Michael Jordan - Michael Jordan! I said, “This man doesn’t ever loose.”   I don’t remember seeing Phil Jackson that much. Scottie Pippen along with Michael Jordan played an important role in transforming the Bulls into a champion...

  It is said that LeBron James wants to buy an NBA team in Las Vegas after he retires. Is owning an NBA team profitable? If yes, I think LeBron James should go for it. Is an NBA team a good investment? If yes, I think LeBron James should go for it. I hear quite a bit about people owning ball teams. Do you ever wonder just what does NBA team owners do? It is probably their job to hire new head coaches and sometimes players, and maybe more. I suppose they are the ones to make decisions for the team. LeBron seems to have some experience. LeBron James is rich enough to buy an NBA team, and he’s got nothing to lose if an NBA team can be very profitable.

  They always talk about Streetball and asphalt, but I never hear about basketball in the country on the grass. Well, I don’t have to hear about it. I know about it. They talk about Dr. J at the Rucker Park and how he drew a crowd. How people were sitting up in the trees to watch him play. But when you play basketball on the grass surrounded by trees, it’s hard....

This was a Globetrotter’s game, and he was a magician. Goose would pretend to throw the ball up, and the players would jump up while Goose still held the ball in his hand.
